RELOCATION

I contacted Team Barrington through a listing they had. I am an out of town buyer, Arizona, and I needed someone I could trust. After Doug told me everything he had to go through to get the listed house ready to sell, since the seller was confined to a wheelchair, I decided he was the realtor for me. He has gone way above and beyond with sending me pictures of listings and recommending things I needed to have done. I am an ex realtor so I did not need lots of help in understanding real-estate, but I needed help understanding the Topeka real estate market. When I found listings, he would go check them out and take pictures. He would come pick up my relatives to go look at houses, he never knew if he was going to make a sale or even if I was qualified to buy a home. He was instrumental in getting all the inspections completed on the house I finally bought.  I bought a house sight unseen except for the pictures he took. I did not meet Doug until the day before closing. We handled everything by FAX and FEDEX. If you need a realtor that really has your best interest at heart, Team Barrington could very well be your best bet. First, they helped us find a fixer-upper. We wanted a family project for a summer, and they spent a lot of time finding the right house for the project. And, by its nature a fixer-upper wasn’t going to be much of a pocket liner for Doug & Cheri. They helped us keep the lawn mowed until the closing, and then showed up with some paint equipment and many helpful tips & suggestions from their years of experience in the real estate business.
